The 4th International Conference "GENDER: LANGUAGE, CULTURE, COMMUNICATION" will be held on 24-25 November 2005, at Moscow State Linguistic University (Russia, Moscow, Ostozhenka 38).

Key themes of the conference:

• Gender research methodology in the modern Humanities
• Gender as a sociological phenomenon and its reflection in language
• Gender aspects of professional communication
• Gender peculiarities in intercultural communication
• Text and discourse: gender analysis

Participants' presentations should not exceed 20 minutes.

The conference languages are Russian and English.

Arrival will be on 23, November.

Accommodation during the conference will be available at the nearby University Hotel (Komsomol'sckij prospect, 6/2).

Your application and presentation's abstracts (about 500 words) should be sent to the conference committee (gendlab@linguanet.ru) by 25 September 2005.

The conference registration fee is 500 roubles and includes organizational expenses, abstracts publication (author's copy) and tea/coffee breaks.
