INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS /Author Guidelines
All manuscripts should be original and not under consideration by another publisher. Submitted manuscripts
should be about 8,000 words or 30 double-spaced pages (12-point Times Roman), including references, tables
and figures. Longer manuscripts will be considered when space is available.
Manuscripts should be prepared according to the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association (5th edition). Manuscripts should be double-spaced, and all pages should be
numbered.
The title page should include the title of the manuscript; names and affiliations of all authors, as well as their
addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Only the title page should contain identifying information. The
second page should include the manuscript title and an abstract of 150 to 250 words, as well as 5 key words
describing the contents of the manuscript. All figures must be camera ready and formatted to no more than 4.5
inches in width and 8.5 inches in height.
All manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word or WordPerfect or converted to that format and
submitted electronically to the Editor at iklyukanov@mail.ewu.edu. All manuscripts will be evaluated through
a blind peer-review system. The normal review period is about two months.
Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, electronic page proofs will be sent to authors in a PDF format.
Authors will notify the Editor of any essential corrections within specified time line. Authors are responsible for
obtaining permission from copyright owners to use lengthy quotations (450 words or more) or to reprint or adapt
a table or figure that has been published elsewhere. Authors should write to the original copyright holder
requesting nonexclusive permission to reproduce the material in this journal and in future publications generated
by Marquette Books. Authors shall retain the copyright to their works published in the Russian Journal of
Communication.
Authors shall give Marquette Books LLC a nonexclusive right to publish the work in its
journals or in other publications or books that it may produce at the same time or in the future.
